I Am a freshman. What do I do first? Who do I see?
All entering freshmen are required to attend a 2-day PREVIEW. This is an orientation to the university that gives students an opportunity to take a campus tour, meet fellow students, and take the required Math and English Placement Tests. In addition, students will meet with their advisors and create a prospective schedule of classes for them to take. On the second day of PREVIEW, students will register for their courses.
After PREVIEW, freshmen will continue to receive advising from the Undergrad. Advising Office each semester to get blocks removed and to answer questions about coursework. See: http://bpa.odu.edu/bpa/academics/advising/general-info.shtml for more information.
