What do I need to do to become a 2nd degree student?

If a student is interested in receiving a Second Bachelors' Degree from ODU, there are several steps needed. First, the student needs to formally apply to the Office of Admissions as a Second Degree student. The Admissions office will send to the appropriate department a form that the Chair will complete. Once the student has been admitted, the student needs to set up an appointment with the Dept. Chair of their prospective degree program. The Chair will then outline what courses need to be completed in order that the student can then receive the degree. That outline will then be sent to the Advising Office as a copy that we will keep until the student is ready to graduate.

Note: The Advising Office cannot advise Second Degree students; only the Department is able to advise.
