Who do I need to talk to to change my major?

If a student is interested in Changing Majors, several items need to be considered.

The First scenario is the student changing majors from outside The College of Business into the College of Business. In this situation, the student needs to make an appointment with one of the advisors. The student needs to bring their file from their previous major or from Advising Services to our office. In the appointment, the advisor will give them a curriculum sheet that is filled out with the courses that they have completed and outline what still needs to be completed. We will remove the advisors' block and advise the student on what should be taken next. In addition, the advisor will discuss with the student if the “Admission to the College” policy will affect them. If the policy does not affect them, the advisor will input the newly declared major onto LEO. If the policy does affect them, the student will receive an application and instructions on how to become declared.

The Second Scenario is a student changing majors from one Business Major to another. In this situation, the student will not meet with the Undergraduate Advising Office; instead they will go to the prospective departments and ask the departmental secretaries to change the major for them on LEO.
