I want to take a class at another school. How will I know if it will transfer?

For students who wish to take an ODU equivalent course at another institution, please visit the Monarch Transformation web page for courses that have already transferred here: https://wallis.server1.odu.edu/plsql/web/SWKTRNA.P_WS_FIND_STATE If the course and school is not located there, the student will need to visit the ODU dept. that they wish to take a class in, provide for the advisor the course description for the course and ask the advisor to determine if it is equivalent to our course here.

The Advisor then needs to send the Transfer Equiv. Form to admissions to be on file when the course is transferred back in. When the course has been completed with a C or better, the student needs to request that the course transcript be sent to the Admissions office for evaluation.
