Christopher Colburn received his Doctorate in 1988 from Texas A&M University. His primary research interest includes income distribution issues and income redistribution policy and has recently published papers concerning education spending (Urban Studies) and US banking policy (Economic Inquiry) He currently chairs the Promotion and Tenure Committee of the Faculty Senate and the Graduate Faculty of the CBPA.
