Rank: Program Manager

Ruth Cookson joined the Economics Department as the Program Manager for the Center for Economic Education in 2002. She conducts workshops and develops curriculum for K-12 teachers, helping them to better integrate economics into their lessons.
Ms. Cookson earned her M.S. in Education from Old Dominion University in 1990. Economic education and the Virginia History/Social Science Standards of Learning are her areas of expertise.
