William H. Crouch joined the department of Information
Technology and Decision Sciences in 1978. Currently
he serves as Chair of the Department and Graduate
Program Director of the Master of Science in Computer
Science (Computer Information Sciences option).
He teaches the senior and graduate software engineering
courses with special emphasis on web development
and e-commerce. Research interest include software
engineering, web and network security, database
and data mining.
Professor Crouch received both the Ph.D., and M.S.
in Research and Statistical Methodology from the
University of Northern Colorado (1980, 1975), and
a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Colorado
in 1974. After joining the faculty at Old Dominion
University he has assumed responsibility for curriculum
development, as well as instruction, in software
engineering, principles of systems analysis and
design, telecommunications, database management
and e-commerce.
