Eric Anderson joined the department of Economics in 1984. He teaches a variety of courses, ranging from principles of economics through upper-level undergraduate courses such as managerial economics and natural resource/environmental economics, and MBA courses in managerial economics, macroeconomics, and mathematical economics. His research investigates various economic aspects of natural resource and environmental management.
Professor Anderson received his M.A and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Washington in 1975 and 1984, and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1972. He previously worked as an economist with the U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service in Seattle from 1975 to 1984.
