Rank: Assistant Professor

Dr. Pamela Gibson joined the Department of Urban Studies & Public Administration in January, 2001. She teaches the Introduction to Public Administration course, public policy analysis and ethics. Her research investigates moral development and ethical decision making across various professions and the ethical challenges encountered in private-public organizational partnerships.

Professor Gibson received her Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. She also earned her MPA from Virginia Commonwealth University and her B.A. from the University of Virginia. She has fifteen years experience working in social service administration. Most recently, she served as County Services Coordinator for Cobb and Douglas County Boards of Health in Georgia.
