Dr. Li is Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA). Professor Li earned both her master's and doctorate in Business Administration, majoring in operations management and logistics from the Ohio State University. She is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM).
Professor Li's expertise includes theoretical and practical explanations of logistics and supply chain strategies, technology innovation for competitive advantage in a global market, production and operations management, and the impacts of emerging paradigms. Her published work focuses on a number of important issues such as supply chain management, operations planning and control, railway loading issues, knowledge management for problem solving, healthcare issues, and firm performance analysis. Her recently published book, Supply Chain Management: Concept, Technique and Practices - Enhancing Value through Collaboration, was a project funded through a grant provided by Norfolk Southern to CBPA, ODU.
In addition to her regular reaching assignment, professor Li gave a number of speeches on the current issues and future directions of supply chain management, supply chain security, and logistics management in e-commerce environment.
