Dr. Morris joined Old Dominion University in 1989. She has taught a variety of undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. courses in strategic management and corporate social performance, but most often teaches the undergraduate capstone course in strategic management to graduating seniors. Her research on competitive intelligence gathering and ethical decision making has appeared in Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, Decision Sciences, and elsewhere. Her current research examines the antecedents and consequences of corporate philanthropy.
Professor Morris received her Ph.D. in Policy and Strategy from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 and her MBA from the same institution in 1978. She is an active presenter, reviewer, and discussant for the Academy of Management and the International Association for Business and Society (IABS), where she serves as Treasurer.
