Anusorn Singhapakdi joined the department of Marketing in 1989. He teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels in different areas including business ethics, marketing ethics, marketing management, and consumer behavior. His primary research area has been in marketing ethics. He is particularly interested in investigating the factors that determine a decision-maker's behavior in marketing situations involving ethical issues.
Professor Singhapakdi received his Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Mississippi in 1988 and B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering (1976), B.S. in City Planning (1977), and M.B.A. with emphasis in Marketing (1979) from the University of Wisconsin. He has been appointed as a track chair on Ethics and Social Responsibility for numerous conferences including Multicultural Marketing Conference, World Marketing Congress, Academy of Marketing Science Annual Conference, International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies Conference and Annual Macromarketing Conference. He is a member of the Board of Directors of International Society for Quality of Life Studies. Dr. Singhapakdi has also served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Ethics and as a guest editor for a special issue on "International Marketing Ethics" for the journal.
