Marek Wermus joined the department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences in 1982. He teaches Operations Management with Technology, Operations Management with Quantitative Methods and Managing Services courses at MBA and undergraduate level. His research deals with job shop scheduling, work force scheduling and employment practices in selected countries, mostly Poland.

Professor Wermus received his Ph.D. from the Technical University in Wroclaw, Poland in 1977 and his Master of Science in 1974.
