Professor Yuping Liu joined the Department of Business Administration in 2002. She teaches Internet Marketing to both undergraduate and MBA students. Professor Liu conducts research at the juncture of marketing, technology, and psychology. Her research investigates how consumers interact on the Internet and how the Internet can be used more effectively for marketing purposes.

Professor Liu received her Ph.D. and MBA degrees from Rutgers University in 2002 and B.A. degree from Renmin University in 1996. She was an assistant editor in China. Before joining Old Dominion University, she has taught at Rutgers University and has served as a data analyst for the NJIT Virtual Classroom Project.
