Dr. Xu joined the department of accounting in 2001. She teaches Intermediate Accounting and International Accounting.  Her research interest includes behavior research in managerial accounting, international accounting, and ethics, as well as accounting history.  She is the Director of Graduate Program in Accounting.

Professor Xu received her Ph.D. and Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina in 2001 and 1996.  She is a Certified Public Accountant, and member of American Accounting Association and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
