Michael T. Zugelder joined Old Dominion University in 1995 and is the Business Law professor for the College. He teaches The Legal Environment of Business Finance 331 and has developed and taught Honors Legal Environment Finance 338, The Legal Environment of Electronic Commerce Finance 333, and its graduate equivalent Finance 633, Employment Law Management 417/517, and Employment Law and Regulation MBA 624.
Professor Zugelder's research and publications have focused on intellectual property law with particular regard to the Internet and employment/civil rights law.
He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from the University of Toledo in 1980 and his BA and MBA degrees from Indiana University in 1974 and 1976.
He is a former partner and now of counsel with the law firm of Breeden, Salb, Beasley & DuVall, PLC in Norfolk, Virginia where he specialized in copyright, civil rights, and business litigation.
