Advanced Certificate in Public Administration and Policy

The Department of Urban Studies and Public Administration in the College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion University offers an Advanced Certificate in Public Administration and Policy for individuals who hold master's degrees from a wide variety of disciplines. The objective of the program is to help working professional's upgrade their skills in the areas of policy analysis and public management.

Objective: To develop the analytical and management capabilities of individualswho seek high-level administrative responsibilies.

Admission:Admission is open to any student who submits evidence of having completed a master's degree in an accredited college or university.

Curriculum: The curriculum consists of five tracks of courses listed below.Students are required to take four (4) courses, a total of twelve (12) credit hours, to complete the certificate program. Each is to be seen as a subspecialty in the field of public administration and policy.
